Preserving untold stories of the PNW’s music scene from 1985 to 1995.
Scenes aren’t built by Headlines.
They’re built by Weirdos.
Welcome to their Archive.
What is a weirdo?
A “Weirdo” isn’t just someone who stands out — it’s anyone who refuses to follow the script. Weirdos are musicians, artists, and creators driven by curiosity, courage, and chaos. They blur genres, break norms, and show up for the music and the scene.
From full-time artists to weekend experimenters, they’re united by authenticity, individuality, and the refusal to conform. Weirdos are the heartbeat of the PNW, proving that creativity thrives when you follow your own voice.
Our mascot Wally embodies the project’s spirit and reminds us that difference isn’t a flaw, it’s the point.
The Power of Storytelling
As Many Weirdos As Possible is a collaborative still life documentary celebrating the musical legacy of the Pacific Northwest, spotlighting Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, and beyond. It focuses on over 300 diverse creators who shaped the music scene between 1985-1995, spanning genres from hip hop to grunge.
We believe in the power of a single image paired with a handwritten memory to honor lives, legacies, and the places that shape them, connecting personal memory to broader cultural history.
Poser Productions
Poser Productions is a community-centered arts organization preserving personal and cultural histories through portraiture, storytelling, and events. We believe a single image and handwritten memory can connect individual experience to the broader story of a place.
Beyond the AMWAP project, we host exhibitions, gatherings, and grassroots events that bring people together and keep these stories alive. As we grow, Poser Productions will continue launching projects that celebrate overlooked voices and preserve the creative spirit of our communities.
